Massanetta (7" Lathe)
"Massanetta", the second solo release by Ben Schlabach (aka Uncle Bengine), brings you three new songs that compliment yet exceed the tunes from his first release, “They Grow Up So Fast." Expect the same catchy alt-country sound with Jason Summer’s smooth pedal steel, but thickened by the addition of a subtle yet incredibly effective distorted electric guitar that gives the tunes an added boost.
Recorded by Ben Schlabach and John Hostetter in various basements around Harrisonburg VA, in the spring of 2010
Released on Funny/Not Funny Records July 2010, clear 7" lathe, hand cut by Single Piece Slate limited to 50. Comes with a Digital Download.
